Ben is a total saint – the easiest-breeziest horse on the place. He has an adorable, endearing, kind personality that everyone falls in love with. This horse literally never puts a foot wrong – he is peaceful, kind, and a total gentleman. Ben has been with us to lessons, clinics, trail rides, parades, and branding this spring and summer, he is a favorite and he is always on the trailer, he never gets left at home! He has babysit my absolute most precious cargo in wide open country, in the city traffic and commotion, and on the ground and bareback all over our place – this guy is just the sweetest and we really hope he gets a young kiddo, an old lady, or
some type of pet / family home! He has the most awesome easy, smooth gaits you could put on one! Fred is so chill and easy going! He is only 6 years old and has his whole life ahead of him! He has been used by a youth rider for local 4H events and clinics, trail rides, and parades. He is great in town, and he is the kind you can just turn out and then grab anytime you want and go for a nice ride. He has a great stop, always catches his leads, and has a nice balanced trot and lope. He walks out confidently anywhere on a loose rein with his head down and relaxed. He is easy to catch, super friendly, quiet to tie, pick out his feet, groom, bathe, saddle, and bridle. He stands dead still for mount and dismount, and stands quiet and relaxed until you are ready to move ahead. He hops right on the trailer, and hauls great alone or with other horses. He has been to several rides and events alone and does well by himself, or with other horses. He is happy in the barn, no vices, or is easy to keep turned out in the pasture like a horse too – he goes either way happily! Great health, never had any soundness issues, and has good feet. He also goes really nicely English and has been started over poles and cross rails – Fred was just shod this past week, his teeth were just done by an equine dentist 3 weeks ago, and this week he had a regular maintenance adjustment at the chiropractor – he has a general health/soundness exam done by an equine vet that specializes in performance soundness, and he was just power packed wormed. Prospective buyers are welcome to have any vet of their choice to a pre-purchase exam, pull blood, ultrasound, or x-ray. This guy should check out exceptionally clean, he is in excellent health! He has great feet and if his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can pull his shoes and have him trimmed before he heads to his new home. Bax is a well traveled horse that has been ridden in several states and has been used as a ranch horse in every aspect of ranch life. Doc has been trail ridden in several states and used at the stockyards to pen cattle on a few occasions. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Bax is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, will slide stop, turns a circle both ways, side passes and backs with ease! Bax has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. If you want to feel and look like a real deal cowboy/cowgirl just climb on Bax and he will make you look like one
